A Drawing from Beauty and the Beast - Number
Walter Crane - Beauty and the Beast - And a Bunch of Other Beasts

The Beast is so smitten with Belle that he appoints her the mistress of the house and swears that he will be her servant. He also provides a host of trained monkeys to be her attendant. I hope that they don't have rabies and that they are toilet trained.

In this drawing Belle is asking herself, how long will I have to put up with this charade just to save my father's life from this homicidal rose loving boar? For the love of all that is holy, will I have to walk around all day followed by a troop of chattering monkeys for the rest of my life? Please God make it stop.
